    Windwalker Group is looking to hire Protective Service Officers: Armed Guard II in the Washington DC Area.


    • Must have one (1) year of security supervisory experience
    • Must be currently licensed to perform security duties in DC
    • Fully trained in the handling and use of firearms and has fired an FPS A-9 qualifying score under supervision at an approved range
    • Must pass a medical exam
    • Must be able to meet the Physical Fitness Performance Standards required on the contract
    • Must be trained and certified to FPS guard standards to include passing the FPS written exam
    • Must possess valid and current First Aid certification cards from the American Red Cross (ARC) or the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Must possess valid and current CPR and CPR certification cards from the American Red Cross (ARC) or the American Heart Association (AHA) for the full-course hand-on training curriculum for adult, youth, and infant training modules
    • Must meet the requirements of the Lautenberg Amendment regarding domestic violence
    • Must be able to pass a suitability/background investigation



    Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
    • Received an Associate’s Degree or completed sixty semester hours of college from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
    • Must meet one (1) or any reasonable combination of the following requirements:
    o Three (3) years security experience
    o Protective PSO
    o Three (3) years of U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard or Reserve service
    o Physical Security Experience
    o Successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy
    o Initially and annually complete a signed and dated Lautenberg Amendment Statement/Domestic Violence certification
